Update: More Details on Jerry Lawler's Injury Status

It was previously reported that WWE Raw announcer Jerry "The King" Lawler suffered some sort of back injury as a result of being put through a table on Raw this week.

In an update to that story, The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Lawler was not taken to a hospital after the show as initially thought, and though he was banged up after the spot, and the table was not gimmicked properly, there was no serious damage done to his back. WWE may opt to keep him off TV for awhile, however, to sell the spot and help push Mark Henry as a monster.
