Backstage Scoop On Who’s Playing Sin Cara

08/30/2011 00:17

Hunico worked the weekend WWE live events under the Sin Cara mask, according to various reports. All signs point to him continuing to play the character into the foreseeable future. However, it should be noted that at Tuesday’s tapings, Vince McMahon was not happy with either Hunico or Luis Ignascio Urive Alvirde, the original Sin Cara. However, McMahon wants the character to continue because of the strong sales that the character brings in — his $75 masks sold at live events are reportedly hot sellers.

F4WOnline.com reports that when Alvirde made his return to the company following his suspension, he had a cocky attitude and ego and wasn’t behaving the way McMahon expected him to behave once he returned. Vince then decided to send him home during the taping, according to reports. Alvirde still has not been released, however.
